Getting There

The KRL Commuter Line is the easy way in and out. The Jakarta–Bogor line runs frequent air-conditioned trains all day; Depok and Universitas Indonesia stations are both useful stops. From central Jakarta (Manggarai or Tanah Abang) reckon 45–60 minutes; from Bogor about 30 minutes. Fares are negligible — about IDR 4,000 — paid by tap-card.

By road, Depok is connected to Jakarta by the Jagorawi toll road and by Margonda Raya as a non-toll alternative. Traffic is heavy at all hours. Online ride-hailing (Gojek, Grab) is universal and the cheapest way to move around inside the city.
