The Golden Dome Mosque, formally Masjid Dian Al-Mahri, is Depok's most recognisable landmark. Its gilded domes and broad prayer complex make it more visually striking than the city's ordinary suburban sprawl would suggest.
Visitors should dress modestly and remember that this is an active mosque first, attraction second. It is best for travellers already in Depok or moving through the southern Jakarta area, not as a compulsory detour from central Jakarta.
