No cars, no motorbikes, no stress. The Gili Islands' appeal is simple: coral reefs, sea turtles, white sand, and the particular calm of islands where the only sounds are waves and birdsong. Diving and snorkelling dominate — the underwater life here is exceptional — but the islands reward those who just want to sit on a beach and do very little.
