This small 18th-century cemetery preserves the graves of Europeans who died in British Bencoolen. Only a limited number of headstones remain, but they say more about the hardship of the colony than a tidy museum panel could.
There is little shade, so come in the morning or late afternoon and combine it with Fort Marlborough.
