Haft Khan — "Seven Stations," named for the seven trials of the hero Rostam — is a sprawling restaurant complex in north Shiraz with several themed floors: traditional Iranian, fast food, café, fine dining, and a rooftop. It is one of the most popular places in town with middle-class Iranian families, and the traditional floor is the one to head for.
The lamb shank and the chicken with pomegranate-walnut sauce (fesenjan) are well-judged versions of the classics. Service is professional and the dining rooms are large enough that you don't usually wait long.
