Netanya sits on the main Tel Aviv–Haifa rail and motorway corridor, making it one of the easier coastal towns in Israel to reach. Trains run roughly every half hour from both Tel Aviv (about 30 minutes) and Haifa (about 45 minutes); the station is on the inland edge of town, with bus connections or a short taxi ride to the centre.
By road, Highway 2 (the coastal motorway) and Highway 4 both pass close to the city. Ben Gurion International Airport is about 50 km south; allow an hour by car or about 90 minutes by train via Tel Aviv. There is no bus connection direct to the airport.
