At the southern edge of Netanya, where the Poleg stream meets the sea, Poleg Beach is the city's surf spot. The wave is small but consistent, breaking over a sandy bottom, and the beach attracts a younger crowd of surfers, kitesurfers, and windsurfers depending on the wind.
The beach itself is wide and feels more wild than Sironit — fewer facilities, more dunes, occasional grazing horses from the nearby stables. The Poleg Nature Reserve immediately inland is good for short walks through coastal scrub.
