Sironit, directly below the central square, is the most popular and best-equipped beach in Netanya. Two breakwaters create a sheltered swimming area with calm, shallow water that suits families and weak swimmers. There are lifeguards in season, changing rooms, showers, and beach cafés.
A free glass elevator from Independence Square runs down to the beach — saving the steep descent and especially appreciated on the way back up. Get there early on weekends in summer; by midday the lifeguard zones can be packed.
