Aibagawa Canal

Aibagawa Canal was built to move goods through Hagi and to provide water for firefighting. Today the canal path is a quiet place for a short walk, with old-town scenery and a reminder of how the castle town handled transport and water.

It is not a headline sight, but it fits well into a slow walk between Hagi's historic houses, temples, and castle-town lanes.
