Orii House is a former samurai residence below the castle hill. The house is simple and domestic, with a small display of armour and family objects that helps make Takahashi's feudal past feel less abstract.
It is usually visited together with nearby Haibara House. Neither takes long, but together they make a good counterpoint to the castle above: this is the lower, lived-in world that supported the fortress.
