The restaurant draws a lunchtime queue that regularly extends outside the door -- arrive by 11:30 am to sit without waiting. The interior is unpretentious: counter seating, direct cooking views, and efficient service.
The wagyu used here is reared near Kyoto and notably different from the industrial beef at comparable hamburger restaurants. A second branch operates in Gion.
