One of Roppongi's longest-running clubs, open since 1980 and still drawing a loyal following. Known for a policy of free admission for foreign women, which over the decades attracted visiting models and musicians and made it a regular haunt for touring rock bands and sports stars. The crowd is a mix of expats, tourists, and Japanese regulars. Basement venue, sweaty and loud, with a sound system focused on pop and hip-hop. Roppongi has changed a lot around it but the Lexington Queen has stayed roughly the same, which for many regulars is precisely the point.
