Roppongi Hills is a polished shopping, dining, office, and culture complex built around the 53-storey Mori Tower. It is one of the clearest examples of Tokyo's early 21st-century redevelopment: sleek, expensive, easy to navigate, and packed with reasons to linger.
The best draws are above street level. The Mori Art Museum and observation deck make the tower worth visiting even if you have no interest in luxury shops, and the surrounding plazas are useful for getting your bearings in Roppongi.
