Ishigaki Stalactite Cave is a coral-limestone cave formed over hundreds of thousands of years. The full cave system is about 3.2 km long, with a 660 m section open to visitors.
The public route includes lit chambers, stalactites, and displays that explain how the island's old coral reef landscape shaped the cave. It is an easy all-weather stop near Ishigaki city.
