Yaeyama Limestone Cave is a rough, partly overgrown cave park on Ishigaki. It has less polish than the better-known Ishigaki Stalactite Cave, but the limestone formations and semi-abandoned feel appeal to visitors who enjoy less curated places.
Bring a flashlight if you plan to enter the cave, and do not expect much staffing or interpretation on site.
