Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple

The main Hindu temple of PJ Old Town, dating from the 1960s and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The gopuram tower over the entrance is freshly repainted every twelve years for the rededication ceremony, and the carving and colour are striking against the surrounding low-rise shophouses.

Visitors are welcome outside puja hours. Remove your shoes; cover shoulders and knees. Best visited on a Friday evening when the temple is full and the priests are conducting arati.
