Ulaanbaatar's National Amusement Park has operated since 1969 and remains the city's central funfair, with a steel roller coaster, Ferris wheel, rides, and a small castle set beside an artificial lake.
It is a family stop rather than a must-see monument, but it gives a different look at everyday leisure in the capital. It is most useful if you are travelling with children or want an easy break between museums.
