Kaeson Funfair is a small amusement park near Pyongyang's Arch of Triumph. It has a limited set of modern rides, but the controlled, guided way visitors move through the park makes it an unusual glimpse of leisure culture in North Korea.
Foreign visitors normally cannot wander independently here. A park guide takes groups from ride to ride, keeps track of what they use, and payment is settled at the end.
