Chowk Bazaar

Chowk Bazaar is the central crossroads of the walled city, where the streets from Bohar Gate, Haram Gate and Delhi Gate meet under the shadow of the Wali Muhammad Khan Mosque and the Phool Hattan Wali Mosque. It is the densest, oldest and most photogenic part of the bazaar district — a mass of brass shops, sweet shops, fabric merchants, courier stalls and rickshaws, threaded with overhead cables and shaded by improvised awnings.

This is where you buy Multani khussa (the city's distinctive curled-toe leather slippers) and the famous blue-and-white Multani pottery, both still made by hand in small workshops a few streets back. Allow plenty of time and expect to get lost.
