Museo Kordilyera, on the University of the Philippines Baguio campus, is one of the best places in the city to understand the wider Cordillera. Its exhibitions present Indigenous material culture, textiles, ritual objects, photographs, and contemporary interpretation from the mountain region around Baguio.
The museum is especially useful because Baguio can otherwise feel like a cool-weather city break detached from its highland context. Visit here before buying souvenirs or heading into the mountains and you will recognise more of what you see.
