Silay is not a nightlife city. The heritage district quiets down by evening, and most visitors base themselves in Bacolod and come out for the day. That said, a small number of cafes have opened in recent years that make good use of the heritage setting, and there is a local tradition of afternoon coffee and pastry that fills the gap.
