Magikland is an amusement park on the southern outskirts of Silay, about 2 km from the town centre. It is the largest theme park in Negros Occidental and caters primarily to Filipino families. Rides range from a Ferris wheel and carousel to faster thrill rides, and there are several food stalls and a small water play area.
For most international visitors, Magikland is not the reason to come to Silay. But if you are travelling with children who have been dragged around heritage houses all morning, an afternoon at Magikland makes a pragmatic counterbalance. The park is well maintained and far less crowded on weekdays. Check the website for current opening hours, as these vary by season.
