Jeepneys and tricycles are the main local transport within the city. Tricycles (motorbike with sidecar) cover short distances cheaply. Jeepneys run fixed routes and are the way to reach the outer lakes (Pandin, Yambo, Calibato). Bikes can be rented for riding around Sampaloc Lake. For trips to Villa Escudero, Bato Resort, or further afield, hire a tricycle or jeepney driver for the day.
From Manila, Victory Liner, Jam Transit, and other bus companies serve San Pablo from the Buendia or Pasay terminals; journey time is around 2.5 hours. Shared taxis (FX) run from Manila faster but less frequently.
