San Pablo City is about 100km south of Manila. Buses run frequently from the Buendia (EDSA-Taft) and Pasay terminals in Manila; Victory Liner, Jam Transit, and several other companies serve the route. Journey time is around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. Shared FX taxis from Manila are faster but less predictable.
From Lucena to the south, jeepneys and buses connect San Pablo in under an hour. For Villa Escudero and the Tiaong area, southbound buses from the San Pablo terminal cover the route in 30 to 40 minutes.
