Getting There

From Manila by road: The most common approach is the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), which connects directly to the freeport gate. Total driving time from Metro Manila is two to three hours depending on traffic. Buses operated by Victory Liner and several other companies depart regularly from Pasay and Cubao terminals in Manila; the journey takes around three hours and drops passengers in Olongapo. Shared vans (UV Express) are faster and run from SM Fairview and other Manila points.

Subic Bay International Airport: The airport at Cubi Point handles charter flights and some domestic routes, though it has no regular scheduled international service. Check current carriers before planning an air arrival.

By ferry: A fast-craft ferry service connects Manila's North Harbor to Subic; the crossing takes around two hours and is an excellent alternative to the road if you are coming from central Manila. Services run several times daily but check schedules in advance as they are subject to weather cancellations. The ferry terminal is inside the freeport zone.

From Clark/Angeles: Approximately one hour via the SCTEX. Useful for travellers transiting through Clark International Airport.
