Jeonju Hyanggyo

Jeonju Hyanggyo is a Joseon-era Confucian school on the quieter edge of Jeonju Hanok Village. The compound has simple wooden halls, stone courtyards, and old ginkgo trees, giving it a calmer feel than the busiest lanes of the village.

It is a good stop for visitors who want to see traditional scholarly architecture and understand another side of Jeonju's historic core. Combine it with Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Jeondong Cathedral, and the Hanok Village streets nearby.
