Geumgang Park sits at the foot of the mountains in northern Busan, with forest paths, small family attractions, and a cable car climbing toward Geumjeongsan. The ride is the main reason to come, trading the city streets for wooded slopes and broad views back over Busan.
It works well as a half-day with nearby hot springs or as a softer mountain outing than the longer hikes around Beomeosa.
