Hwamyeong Gichatgil is a short forest path beside the active Gyeongbu railway line in northern Busan. The 1.2-km trail turns a formerly neglected rail-side strip into a landscaped walk with metasequoia, pine, and seasonal flowers.
It is a modest sight, but useful if you are already exploring the Hwamyeong or Geumjeongsan side of the city and want a quiet, easy walk. The trains remain part of the scene, giving the path a different feel from Busan's beach and mountain trails.
