The fish market operates from early morning, when the outrigger canoes return from their night at sea. It's loud, fast, and entirely focused on business — no one is trying to sell you anything. The catch is laid out on the quay and auctioned off quickly: seer fish, tuna, prawns, and whatever else came in. Come before 8am for the full spectacle. The harbour itself, with its colourful painted oruwa canoes, is worth seeing at any hour.
