Baimiwong Fort is one of the military sites above Keelung Harbour, a reminder that the port has long been strategically exposed. Batteries, platforms, and harbour views make it part history stop and part lookout.
It fits well with Keelung's other forts, especially Dawulun and Shihciouling, but usually sees fewer casual visitors. Bring water and check access before going, as hillside fort sites around Keelung can involve steps, rough paths, and changeable weather.
