Keelung's sights lean toward temples, coastal scenery, and the kind of religious folk art you find all over Taiwan but rarely this concentrated. The hillside parks above the harbour offer good views, and the sea-eroded caves along the coast have been turned into atmospheric shrines. Most things to see are within walking distance of the train station or a short bus ride away.
