The big-format luxury shopping is in Xitun district — Top City around the metro station, Mitsukoshi, and the recently opened Mitsui Outlet Park in the north of the city. The Calligraphy Greenway, Wenxin Forest Park area, and Wuquan Cultural Park have the highest concentration of design boutiques and small clothing shops.
For traditional Taiwanese products: Miyahara for sweets and tea, Yi Chung Sun Cake on Ziyou Road for taiyangbing, the Audit New Village for design objects, and the Cultural Heritage Park behind the Museum of Fine Arts for craft and ceramics.
For markets, the Jianguo Market and the Yizhong Street strip are the main everyday street shopping; the night markets (Fengjia, Yizhong, Zhongxiao) take over from sundown.
