The "Cave Temple of the Golden Dragon" sits in the limestone foothills about 5 kilometres south of town. A long stairway flanked by dragon-sculpted balustrades climbs into the cave complex; the lighted path through the caves emerges at an opening above the temple with good views over the surrounding valley. The temple is known locally for a female monk who meditates in a large tank of water as a demonstration of supernatural ability.
