The Thepprasit Night Market opens on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings in the southern part of Pattaya, near Jomtien. It is one of the best street food markets on the eastern seaboard: cheap, crowded, and genuinely local. The stalls sell grilled seafood, pad thai, mango sticky rice, fried insects, and enormous quantities of cheap clothing and household goods.
The food section is the main draw. Prices are very low — most dishes cost 40–80 baht — and the quality is better than most tourist restaurants on Beach Road. Arrive by 7pm to get your bearings before the crowds peak. Parking is easy; songthaews from Jomtien Beach Road take you almost to the entrance.
