Nong Nooch is a 2400-acre botanical garden and cultural complex 15km south of Pattaya along Sukhumvit Road. The primary business is architectural landscaping and a tropical nursery, but for visitors the draw is the three daily Thai cultural shows — traditional dance, Thai boxing demonstrations, and elephant performances. The garden holds an extensive cactus collection, a fern collection, and ornamental landscaping in European and French formal styles. Reasonably priced; pick-up from Pattaya hotels can be arranged.
