Antalya Aquarium, at the western end of Konyaaltı, claims to be one of the largest aquarium complexes in the world — the main tunnel tank is 131 metres long, making it the longest aquarium tunnel in Europe. It is accompanied by a snow world, an XD cinema, and various themed exhibitions that aim to turn a visit into a full-day family attraction.
It is unashamedly a tourist attraction rather than a serious institution, but it is well done and genuinely impressive in scale. Children love it. The prices are high by Turkish standards; book online to save somewhat. It is particularly popular on rainy days when the beaches are not an option.
