The 2016 World Horticultural Exposition was held in Antalya on a 68-hectare site north of the city. The site is now used as a public park and exhibition centre, with permanent botanical gardens laid out during the exposition. The greenhouses and garden sections have been maintained to varying degrees, and the park is a pleasant, uncrowded escape from the city in spring when the plantings are at their best.
The architecture of several of the national pavilions remains on site. This is not a major sight, but the park is free, spacious, and worth an hour if you are in the northern part of the city.
