Lycian Way

The Lycian Way is a long-distance walking trail that runs 500 km around the Lycian coast from Fethiye to Antalya, passing through some of the most beautiful and least developed scenery on the Turkish Mediterranean. Sections near Antalya — particularly around Olympos, Çıralı, Phaselis, and the coast south of Kemer — are accessible as day hikes or two-to-three day loops without having to commit to the full route.

The trail varies from coastal clifftop paths with views across to the Greek islands to inland routes through pine forest and ancient ruins. The official trail map and waymarking are maintained by the Lycian Way Association. The best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (October to November).
