Dalaman sits on the southwestern coast of Turkey in the Mugla Province. Its international airport makes it the main entry point for this stretch of coast.
By Air
Dalaman Airport is small — just 14 gates — but handles daily flights from Istanbul and regular nonstop services from across Europe, particularly charter flights in summer. The airport is the easiest and most common way to arrive.
By Bus
The main bus station is Otogar, with daily services to most Turkish cities and towns. International bus routes connect Turkey with Greece, Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and several Middle Eastern countries. From the bus station, dolmus (shared minibus) services run to nearby towns.
By Car
Car hire is available at the airport and is a good way to explore the region at your own pace. Most rental agencies will not allow vehicles to be taken across international borders.
By Boat
There are no direct ferry routes to Dalaman, but ferries serve nearby ports including Marmaris. You can take a ferry to Marmaris and continue by bus.
