Hamamyolu means "Hammam Road" — it once led to the city's main public bath — and the pedestrianisation project of the late 2010s turned it into Eskişehir's main promenade. Trees, fountains, and a long string of cafes, ice-cream parlours, and casual restaurants line both sides of the street, and on warm evenings the whole thing fills with students, families, and the occasional busker.
Pick a cafe with outdoor seating; service is leisurely. The street ends near the river and the start of the Adalar park, so you can roll a coffee into a riverside beer without changing neighbourhoods.
