Esrefzade Rumi Mosque stands near Iznik's historic centre. The present building is modern, replacing a 15th-century mosque destroyed in war, but it preserves an older minaret, probably from the early 16th century.
The tile work recalls Iznik's better-known Green Mosque, making it a useful extra stop for visitors tracing the town's Ottoman and ceramic heritage.
