The Cinci Hammam, built in 1645 alongside the Cinci Han caravanserai, is one of the oldest continuously operating Turkish baths in the Black Sea region. The domed hot room (sıcaklık) is built in classic Ottoman style with a central heated marble slab (göbek taşı) for massage and a ring of smaller washing cubicles (halvets) around the edges.
The hammam is still in regular use and accepts visitors — it is an excellent place to experience the ritual of the Turkish bath in an authentic historic setting rather than a modern tourist facility. Sessions include a scrub with a kese mitt and a soap massage. The building's exterior, with its stepped domes and chimney stacks, is a pleasing part of the old bazaar streetscape even from outside.
