Dubai Marina Mall is the neighbourhood's own shopping centre, smaller and more manageable than the city's mega-malls and set right on the water. Across its handful of floors it covers the essentials — fashion, a supermarket, a cinema, and a food court — and a waterfront promenade of cafés and restaurants looks out over the yachts and the wall of towers around the Marina.
It is most useful as an anchor for a Marina evening: park or arrive by Metro and tram, eat on the terrace, and walk out onto the Marina Walk. The views of the illuminated skyline from the promenade are the real attraction; the shopping is ordinary but convenient.
