The Mall of the Emirates in Al Barsha is the second-largest shopping mall in Dubai and one of the most successful in the city. It has over 630 retail outlets, a 14-screen cinema, a large Magic Planet entertainment centre, and — most notably — Ski Dubai, the indoor ski resort attached to the mall's south end.
The mall is well designed by the standards of its genre: the interior is reasonably legible, natural light enters through the roof, and the dining options are better than average. The Harvey Nichols and Waitrose are both here. The Ski Dubai attraction (visible through a huge glass wall from inside the mall) is genuinely worth seeing even if you do not ski.
