Al Qasba is Sharjah's canal-side leisure strip, a place for an evening walk when the heat drops and the lights come on around the water. It mixes family play areas, restaurants, boat rides, and cultural spaces such as the Maraya Art Centre, so it works best as an easy social stop rather than a formal sightseeing monument.
Do not come expecting the old Eye of the Emirates wheel at its original Al Qasba position; the attraction has moved. The reason to visit now is the waterfront setting itself, especially if you are travelling with children or want a softer contrast to Sharjah's museums, forts, and restored souqs.
