Da Quy has been feeding Dalat residents for decades and remains the benchmark for local cooking in the city. The menu centres on lẩu — Vietnamese hotpot — prepared with the highland vegetables that make Dalat distinctive: artichoke hearts, wild mushrooms, and fresh herbs that arrive at the table piled high. Order the beef and artichoke hotpot and a pot of green tea. The dining room is utilitarian; the food is not. Affordable and very popular with locals, so arrive before 7pm or expect a wait.
