Vang Đà Lạt Winery

Vietnam's best-known commercial winery with tasting room

Vang Đà Lạt is the most prominent of the small wine producers that have established themselves in the Central Highlands, using the cooler microclimate to grow Cabernet Sauvignon and Cardinal grapes that would struggle in lowland Vietnam. The winery produces both red and white under the Đà Lạt label — you'll see these bottles on restaurant menus across the country. The winery operates a tasting room where visitors can try the range before buying. The wines are not world-class, but drinking Vietnamese wine in the city where it's made is one of those things worth doing once.
