Minh Mang Tomb

Most architecturally grand of Hue's royal tombs

The most architecturally grand of the royal tombs, set within an oval wall with a circumference of 2,000 metres. A central walkway of 700 metres bisects the complex, passing through the Salutation Court, Stele House, Sung An Temple, and the Minh Lau Pavilion before reaching the burial mound surrounded by a crescent lake. The scale and symmetry are impressive — this is the most formal of all the tombs.
