Quy Nhon Cathedral began as a local parish in 1892 and was greatly expanded in the 1930s when it became the seat of the regional Catholic diocese. Its tall spire and large bell make it one of the city's more visible landmarks, and the church is an easy detour from the central beach and Cham tower route.
