One of Australia's best wildlife parks, concentrating on the animals and plants of Central Australia's arid zones in a series of large naturalistic habitats — desert rivers, sand country, and woodland. Free-flight bird demonstrations run twice daily. The nocturnal house shows animals active at night, including bilbies, bandicoots, and marsupial moles, species that most visitors would otherwise never see. Located on Larapinta Drive, about 4 km from the town centre.
